We are currently hiring research technicians, postdoctoral researchers, and recruiting graduate students for the upcoming year. We are seeking individuals that work well in a team, have a passion for science, and a willingness to learn. 

We have a number of ongoing projects related to neural mechanisms involved in alcohol and opioid use for new members to get involved in. We also have ongoing projects related to development of imaging modalities for cleared tissue to work on.

Prospective graduate students should contact Dr. Kimbrough directly about their interest in the laboratory and the different Ph.D. and Masters programs available.

Postdoctoral candidates should have a background in neuroscience, pharmacology, or a similar discipline. Preferred (not required) skills include the following: rat/mouse behavior, stereotaxic surgery, intravenous catheter surgery, immunohistochemistry/western blotting, and computer programming (R, Python, Matlab).
